Benton is licensed in Arkansas and Oklahoma.
In addition to certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, Benton has a Master of Science
with Exercise Physiology Emphasis and a
Bachelor of Science in Physicial Education.

He worked for many years as an athletic trainer
and exercise specialist prior to returning to school
to become a Physician's Assistant.

Benton lives in Ft. Smith with his wife. He enjoys judo, outdoor activities, hunting and motorcycling.
